A shop near me works on a races a Ford GT. Though this isn’t any Ford GT. They are confirmed the fastest road legal car west of the Mississippi, second fastest Ford GT in the World, and according to them the other GT may not be road legal which would make them the fastest road legal car (may have just dais GT according to their speed) in the US of A. Confirmed 235 mph aiming to get more out of their twin turbo set up. Sounds too slow for all those stats of fastest this and that. Though I was a bit awestruck at the time and wasn’t paying much attention to the guy talking.
I believe this is the car doing the MojaveMile

That’s as much of a sleeper as a GT could possibly be. Awesome!

Yeah, I would have been awestruck too. It looks pretty good without the stripes.

Glad you did this, I’ve been meaning to walk across the street to get some pics to share. Scott’s always got something badass over there. There’s an amazing purple Mopar parked on the side today.

A 235 mph standing mile is insane for a road car. To put that into perspective, in the same distance a Veyron gets up to 204 mph.
Although the all-time standing mile record is 283 mph in a 1,700 hp GT, so that’s a thing.
